What is the Attendance Competition?
To continue our momentum toward better attendance, each school will be competing in an attendance competition this month. For the month of May, the district is holding a baseball-themed Attendance Grand Slam Competition! Schools will once again work toward achieving a 95% attendance rate. At the end of May, any school that reaches 95% attendance and the most improved school in both the elementary and middle/high school categories will receive a reward.
Schools will make it to 1st, 2nd or 3rd base each week based on their weekly attendance improvement. If a building meets the goal of 95% attendance, the school will hit a home run for that week!
Take the Pledge
Students also have the opportunity to earn a prizes by completing the attendance pledge online. Students who pledge to attend every day of school will be entered into the drawing. Take the pledge here.
